Metro shelving has the longest warranty of any product supplied into food service applications. This includes a 12 year anti-corrosion warranty on Super Erecta up to a lifetime warranty on Metro Max.

Simply GN 1.1 Trolley available soon
February 13th, 2009A new Gastronorm 1.1 size trolley will soon be added to the Simply Stainless range.
It has tray slide to suit 18 x GN 1.1 pans, at 25mm deep.
The SS.16.1.1 model will have a retail price of $791 + GST.
The trolley is all stainless steel and comes flatpacked.
FAQ: My Koldtech Pizza Bench is running HOT
February 13th, 2009Every now and then I get a call from an end user complaining there Koldtech Pizza Bench is running hot. There are many factors that could be causing this, usually it is environmental or operator error, I have listed below the common causes of temperature increase.
· Pans are sitting wrong, they are positioned over the return air not on return air bracket.
· Ventilation holes in the front back or side have suddenly been covered up.
· Food in fridge under is packed so tight or poorly that no air can recirculate.
· Exhaust hood is located near the unit and sucks the cold air out instead of letting it go into the return air
· Unit is being run in an non air conditioned premises, the weather is suddenly hot and humid, this will cause the refrigeration to struggle.
· A fan is in the shop and blowing air across the unit and stopping the cool air from going back into the return air.
· Product is piled too high in the pans, thus leaking the cool air into the room, not into the return air.
The Koldtech units have their sensors in the return air, the warmest part of the unit, usually the unit is actually colder than the display. Cairns Yacht Club goes full Electrolux
January 23rd, 2009The new Cairns yacht club is currently being fitted out with a full Electrolux kitchen by KBR, from Melbourne.
The major development includes Elco 900 modular equipment, Electrolux AOS combi steamers and Electrolux dishwashing.
The clients decided to change away from the originally specified equipment in favour of Electrolux after seeing the equipment being demonstrated by Electrolux chefs at Stoddart's Brisbane test kitchen.
In addition to Electrolux the new development will also have a Powersoak, Halton exhaust hoods and Metro shelving. All supplied by Stoddart to KBR.
Crowne Plaza Washes with Electrolux
January 21st, 2009The Crown Plaza Surfers Paradise is one of the latest proud owners of an Electrolux Rack Conveyor Dishwasher.
The WTM180 Modular Rack machine was supplied and installed by Spilsbury & Wenzel in November. As part of the installation the Gold Coast contractor, removed the old American-made machine and installed the latest labour and resource efficient Electrolux machine from Europe.
